When nobody wants the Boise house

Sometimes the story is simple: the building is empty because nobody in the household plans to live there, rent it with care, or run a remodel. “Unwanted” is a preference. It is not a legal status and it is not a reason to skip locks, insurance, or title.

Preference still needs a path

You can still:

• Leave it empty and keep paying the holding-cost categories
• Change your mind and occupy or rent
• List it
• Compare a direct as-is sale

Authority is a separate sentence

If the house is empty because of a move, that is one file. If it is empty because of an estate or a family transfer, who may sign is a different file. This pack will not decide signing authority. Ada County recorded documents and, where needed, an attorney are the usual places to take that question.
